Recently, while our viewership has continued to rise (thanks for visiting our site!), we have not received very many map submissions. So, we are re-issuing our call for maps. If you have a map you like, scan it or take a digital picture of it and send it to us at showoffyourmaps@gmail.com and we will be happy to post it on our site and include (or withhold) whatever information you want with the posting.

Hi! I want to pass along some great info on maps I just came across. The New York Public Library recently posted a short online video entitled “Mapping the World” that provides a behind-the-scenes snapshot of its map collection. NYPL's Map Division is the largest public library map collection in the world holding some 431,000 maps, 16,000 atlases and books about cartography.
